Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and the services described on it. By using the site or booking a session, you agree to them.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing this website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or the services.
Scope of Services
Ghinwa Salem provides speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for children and adolescents, delivered in person in Verdun, Beirut, and online. Services are provided by a speech-language therapist trained at the University of Saint Joseph, Beirut.
Educational Content Disclaimer
Information on this website is general and educational. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for individual professional assessment. Nothing here should be used to decide whether your child needs therapy — only an individual assessment can establish that.
User Obligations
You agree to provide accurate information about your child's development and health, to inform us of relevant medical conditions or concurrent therapies, and to use the website lawfully.
Session Arrangements
Appointments are arranged directly via WhatsApp or phone. Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, so the slot can be offered to another family. Repeated missed sessions without notice may affect ongoing scheduling.
Payment Terms
In-clinic sessions are paid in cash at the time of the session. Online sessions are paid via Whish Money or OMT in advance of the session. Fees are confirmed with you before therapy begins.
Intellectual Property
The text, illustrations, and design of this website are the property of Ghinwa Salem Speech Therapy. Home activity materials shared with families are for that family's personal use and may not be redistributed commercially.
Limitation of Liability
Therapy outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by Lebanese law, liability is limited to the fees paid for the services in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Beirut.
Updates to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
